One of SMAF's biggest ambitions is supporting dual implementations of HTML5 and Flash. The plan is to develop the application template and framework in HTML5 as well, which could then render and handle the same SMXML UI composition as its Flash version. All UI could be repurposed for both Flash and HTML5, the only duplicate implementation to be made being the core application logic.
